One of THOSE days

Insane. Today in a nutshell. Mostly because of preschool. But it was one of those writing on the wall days. That was Red. Punkie chose to write on the love sack. While I was cleaning up on mess, they were making another. And no, telling Red to clean up didn't work. He is on his fourth outfit today I think. Punkie is on her second. It's in need of a good wash too. Chief is falling apart over his homework again. I don't know if he'll finish it today.
On the good side, a nearby resource center for school stuff is awesome. I checked out some materials and signed Red up for a pre-K "class." And--Da, Da, Da, DAAAAAAAA--we got a nearby business to sponser the incentives for faculty and boy did they really come through!!!! Yea!!!

It's always nice to hear that others have crazy days also. Sorry about the love sac!

What is the pre-K class? One session? Is he starting Pre-K next year?

The pre-K class is just a weekly "class" offered through February by the center that teaches lessons in four categories: words and language; friends and family; health and safety; and numbers and shapes. They go over things like making friends, learning letters, counting to 10, counting, motor skills, emotions, sorting, learning nursery rhymes, shapes, healthy eating, writing your name, emergency numbers, patterns and how to use pencils, books and scissors. Kinda basic stuff, but good. They give the parents tips on how they can encourage these things. For signing him up we got a little bookbag for him with a parent-teaching handbook, jumbo pencil, eraser, glue stick, crayons, scissors and a sharpener. I think it is definately a cool program.

Way to go! Sounds like it will work well with your other preschool activities.
Were you able to remove the drawings from the love sac or is it a permanent reminder of how much kids can do when your back is turned?
